Case Study RL360SM End-of-Life and CE360SM Customer-Install Management

A medical equipment company was experiencing a recovery rate of less than 70% on its medical devices, and the average days-to-return was beyond 75. OnProcess implemented a process which yielded a recovery rate of above 90% and improved the velocity of the return to 35 days, resulting in savings of $550,000/month.

OnProcess also implemented a phone-based self-install process, which helped reduce the number of home visits required to train and install the device. The self-install process now represents more than 30% of all installs, at a cost much lower than on-site visits.

By the end of 2006, 90% of its installations were handled by the OnProcess self-installation process. Currently, the resulting savings exceed $200,000/month.
