By Bhaskar Banerjee, Chief Solutions Officer, OnProcess Technology
OnProcess Technology is one of several leading companies working with students and faculty at MIT’s Center for Transportation & Logistics on a series of research projects.
On January 20th, over 100 supply chain master’s students from the MIT Global SCALE Network showcased their thesis projects. Our sponsored students, Renzo Eliseo Trujillo Castaneda and Mike Brocks, candidates for the Master of Engineering in Logistics (SCM), displayed their thesis poster for the group and attendees.
MIT CTL & OnProcess are developing a framework to utilize machine data along with service and repair data to optimize the service supply chain and reduce cost-to-serve. The research project displayed at the expo is part of this overall initiative.
The topic of their research project is “Improving Efficiency in Service Supply Chain Utilizing Machine Data”.
We greatly appreciate their efforts and are proud to be a part of this exciting research project!
