Director of Consulting | Remote | US
Job Overview
The Director of Consulting will act as a Service Parts Process and Planning Subject Matter Expert (SME) on behalf of OnProcess, with discussions of existing or future clients. The Consultant will acts as one of the central points of accountability, communication liaison, and Consultant for all service parts planning activities, relating to specific accounts and implementations.
Responsibilities and Duties
Coordinating implementation and managing of new programs
Determining and implementing best practice across program industry as appropriate
Performing product presentation and demonstration
Review process documentation and submission of all application specifications
Escalation of issues
Root Cause analysis/solutions
Trending and data analysis
Presentation of results both internally and externally in formal client reviews
Work with internal groups to determine requirements/ongoing refinement of client service tools/technologies
Oversee management of documentation
Program guides/Production metrics
QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of specific Service Supply Chain Experience, having managed a global planning team with at least $20M of overall spend.
Advanced understanding of forecasting, supply vs. demand analysis, available to promise calculations, cycle times and inventory management
Previous Consulting experience, leading engagements as either a individual contributor or managing teams.
Systems/software
Systems/software experience with PTC (Servigistics), Baxter Planning, Entercoms, Oracle, SAP, and Syncron is a plus
Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, and SQL is a plus
Define and build planning models and parameters for all products globally to meet customer SLAs while minimizing financial risk for the company.
Partner with business teams to plan inventory impacts of product life cycle management and establish processes to measure and manage obsolescence.
Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain risk and drive process improvement
Coordinate with Suppliers to ensure parts supportability and timely execution
PHYSICIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
Must be able to lift, bend, etc.
Must possess sight/hearing/speech senses, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
Must be flexible to occasionally work various hours due to dealing with multiple time zones.
