Global Business Press Awakens with OnProcess Expansion and Acquisition News
[KOLKATA, INDIA September 22] OnProcess Technology CEO Ed Barry yesterday announced both an expansion and an acquisition plan, in a press conference held in Kolkata, India on September 22nd.
Details on the announcement were soon appearing in both India-based publications as well as general global business press.
Mr. Barry confirmed the expansion as part of a continuing process, “We have two centres in Kolkata and we are planning to set up another base, in Noida, which is expected to be ready between January and March 2015.”
Currently, OnProcess has a staff strength of 2,200 across its global centres and its businesses are growing at an annual rate of 20-26%.
“Over the last two years, we transformed our company from a primarily reverse logistics company to offering a host of service offerings in supply chain management,” Mr. Barry said. “Our expansion in India is just one example of how our success is tied to that of our clients.”
He also outlined the company’s intention to grow through acquisition as well as organic growth. “We are targeting companies of sizes up to about $25 million with staff strength of about 250-300 in verticals in which we are already present.”
With clients like Avaya, McAfee, Lexmark, Ciena, Verizon, Alcatel, Juniper, Cisco, Dell, GE Healthcare, HP, Suzlon and Everest, as well as most of the leading Broadband and Cable MSOs and Mobile Service Providers in the US, OnProcess has seven global delivery centres; in Massachusetts in the US, Sofia in Bulgaria among other places apart from two centres in Kolkata providing services like inbound service triage, service order management, management of component parts, labor dispatch, reverse logistics and asset retrieval.
