OnProcess Technology Inks Partnership with MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics
Supply Chain Services Pioneer Joins MIT and Industry Leaders to Drive Market Innovation
ASHLAND, MA – July 15, 2015–OnProcess Technology, a global pioneer in service supply chain management (SCM) and optimization, today announced it has been named a partner in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Supply Chain Exchange Program, part of the renowned MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics (CTL). OnProcess joins a select community of industry leaders whose goal is to leverage cutting-edge research and knowledge to drive supply chain advancements.
“The approach companies take to managing their global supply chain has an enormous impact on their top and bottom lines. The more they can innovate and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes, the more profitable and competitive they’ll be,” said Michael Wooden, CEO of OnProcess Technology. “The MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics is one of the world’s foremost sources of supply chain insights and innovation. We’re honored to be part of its Supply Chain Exchange Program and look forward to contributing to, and collaborating with, MIT and its prestigious member companies as we advance the practice of supply chain management.”
“OnProcess brings to MIT unique experience in a critical and, to date, largely under-addressed sector of the supply chain: post-sales services,” said Jim Rice, Deputy Director, MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics. “By joining our Supply Chain Exchange Program, OnProcess will be able to contribute in collaboration with all of our partners, and gain insights that drive further success for both OnProcess and the supply chain community.”
CTL, part of the School of Engineering at MIT, is widely recognized as an international leader in the field of supply chain management, logistics and transportation. Its Supply Chain Exchange comprises 48 companies, including leading manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and transportation and logistics service providers.
