ASHLAND, MA – May 27, 2015 OnProcess Technology, a global pioneer in service supply chain management and optimization, today announced it has been named to the 2015 Supply & Demand Chain Executive Top 100, an annual award showcasing supply chain projects that have delivered significant business impact. Selected from more than 200 submissions, OnProcess was recognized for optimizing a Fortune 500 technology client’s global dispatch process, saving them more than $21M annually in transportation, labor and inventory costs.

“Our goal with this year’s Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 is to put the spotlight on successful and innovative transformation projects that are delivering bottom-line value to small, medium and large enterprises across the different functions that comprise the supply chain,” said Barry Hochfelder, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “These projects can serve as a roadmap for supply chain executives looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations.”

“We’re honored to be recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive. The Fortune 500 dispatch project that led to our selection exemplifies the profound impact OnProcess’ managed services have on post-sales supply chain processes, from revenue enablement, triage and service fulfillment, through reverse logistics, transportation order management and spend management,” said Robert Kenney, EVP Sales and Marketing, OnProcess Technology. “By working with OnProcess, our clients save many millions of dollars annually, reap significant revenue gains and improve the customer experience to such an extent that they can differentiate on operational and service excellence, rather than price.”

In the dispatch project that earned OnProcess a spot in the Top 100, OnProcess used advanced analytics to evaluate the client’s post-sales service operations, focusing on global parts and labor dispatch, and transportation cost analyses. OnProcess found that less than 34% of same-day shipments were actually utilized same day. OnProcess also automated 80% of the largely manual dispatch process, including identifying warehouses with needed parts in stock, selecting the part and sourcing the right engineering support personnel for the service event. Using a proactive pre-call process with end customers, OnProcess determined whether same-day SLAs were appropriate and field engineer assistance required. The result was a significantly optimized process and $21+ million in annual savings.

The 2015 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 are supply chain solution and service providers that are helping their customers and clients achieve supply chain excellence. They have produced measurable gains in ROI through cost-cutting and increased efficiency, whether in warehouse, transportation, procurement, sourcing or any other category in the end-to-end supply chain. Submissions were evaluated by the magazine’s editorial staff based on the ambitiousness of the project, creative application of technologies and services, and business impact. www.SDCExec.com
