February 6, 2024: The Reverse Logistics Association (RLA) awarded the Green Reverse Logistics Award to OnProcess, part of Accenture, during the 20th Annual RLA Conference & Expo Las Vegas 2024. This recognition reflects OnProcess’ unwavering commitment to ‘Power the world’s circular supply chains’ and celebrates the impact made, along with our clients, across our programs and products.
The award recognized the holistic approach to enabling data-driven circularity, starting with OnProcess’ Agora platform, which sets the foundation for impact by harmonizing data points across service- and reverse supply chain processes and stakeholders. Coupled with Agora Recover and Agora DSI, the OnProcess product suite allows clients to digitize, streamline, and optimize return processes towards greater circularity.
And the numbers support this: In 2022, our concerted efforts lifted client return rates by up to 48%. Translated into part volumes, this means that more than 100,000 additional high-tech devices and spare parts were redirected into recovery processes. This is both a commercial success, as well as one for our circular mission. The increased recovery of devices is estimated to avoid about 10,000 tons of recovered E-waste and enable greenhouse gas emission savings equivalent to more than 500,000 tons of CO2 — corresponding to the total energy consumption of 63,000 U.S. homes. These numbers underscore our commitment to driving circularity in the aftermarket.
