According to the Hype Cycle, supply chain visibility is moving towards mass adoption.

Supply chain organizations must maintain a delicate balance between innovation for growth and operational excellence. Gartner’s July 2017 report Hype Cycle for Supply Chain Strategy, 2017 offers supply chain leaders insights on how to achieve this via a snapshot of the maturity and benefits of the most critical supply chain technologies, business frameworks and competencies.

OnProcess is delighted to be included in Gartner’s Hype Cycle. OnProcess has been helping businesses around the world streamline, reduce costs in, and optimize their post-supply chain operations.

And we’re encouraged that visibility has such a prominent and promising place—on the “Slope of Enlightenment”—in Gartner’s report.

As Gartner notes, As supply chain organizations have listed visibility as their top priority over the past years — next to advanced analytics, perceiving supply chain management as more and more strategic — initiatives and investments have gained momentum.” – Hype Cycle for Supply Chain Strategy, 2017, Gartner Inc., July 20, 2017

Because many companies’ post-sales functions operate as silos, they have limited or no visibility across the supply chain. And since they lack integrated views– including data from systems and 3PLSs—there’s no way to gain the insights needed for taking proactive, immediate actions to fix current issues, and predicting and preventing future problems.

We believe end-to-end visibility is critical to post-sale supply chain optimization, which is why it has been one of the core pillars of our value proposition for decades.

The post-sale supply chain is dynamic. Whether you’re talking about the top inquiries customer service is fielding, supply and demand ratios, reasons customers are churning, or which inventory parts are over- or under-stocked, the one thing you can count on that the answers will be different month-to-month, week-to-week or even day-to-day. To effectively manage such a fluid environment, you need four things: deep visibility across the post-sale supply chain, the intelligence to predict changes so you can plan ahead, the ability to take actions that drive specific outcomes, and operations that can turn on a dime.

OnProcess Technology makes this possible with post-sales managed services that are built for flexibility, powered by advanced analytics and delivered via OPTvision, OnProcess’ proprietary real-time micro-analytics and visibility platform.
